ERRORS IN USING AFFIXES OF EXPOSITION TEXT AT ELEVENTH-GRADE STUDENTS OF SMA NEGERI 1 TAPUNG HULU

This paper describes and analyzes the errors in use of affixes exposition text for students class X SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The research is qualitative using descriptive-analytical method, which explains data found form words. Data analysis techniques began with reduction, presentation, conclusion, verification. collection technique used was writing skill test note-taking techniques. source written by students. Based on results, five types were found. There prefixes, ber-, ter-, di-, meN-, ke-, peN-. misuse infixes –em- –el-. suffixes -an, –i, –kan. confixes pen-an, ber-an, ke-an, per-an. incorrect join meN-per-kan, ter-per-, di-kan, di-per-i, meN-kan, ke- to meN-per, -i.
